We celebrated the members who are graduating and those with birthdays. Congratulations!

The Lab members went to the oyster house and Taiyo park.

Three undergraduate seniors in their first year at the lab gave their thesis presentations. All of them delivered very impressive performances. We held a celebration party together with two master course students from Kanazawa University. Everyone worked incredibly hard.

Our research results concerning high-resolution mass spectrometry, conducted with the support of the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) group through the MEXT Advanced Research Infrastructure for Materials and Nanotechnology in Japan (ARIM Japan) , were selected for the Outstanding Achievements of 2024 . We invited Prof. Mishiro (Kanazawa Univ.) and Prof. Ono (Kyushu Univ.) to give lectures at our Univ. We thank them for taking about interesting topics about bioconjugate chemistry and novel optical materials.

We had a birthday party for January. Happy birthday!

We did a year-end cleaning to wrap up the year, and held our year-end party in the evening. Let's keep up the good work next year.

At an international conference held in Honolulu, the symposium "The Phthalocyanine Renaissance" was co-organized with Prof. Leznoff and Prof. Nemykin . The event brought together world-leading experts in phthalocyanine research to share their latest findings. In addition to the invited talks, two students delivered poster presentations. Beyond the rigorous academic sessions, the time spent exploring Honolulu also offered them invaluable life experiences.
